San Francisco with Dani and Emily...

So... Emily's birthday is on Tuesday. So we decided to celebrate over the weekend with going to San Francisco for the day. We drove up to Pleasant Hill and took the Bart into the city. It was my first time taking Bart so I was very excited.

Me infront of the Bart Map. You can see the point we started at to the right of my head.

The train pulling up.

Chugga Chugga Shoe Shoeeeee!!!!

Overall we made a giant circle. First we got off at Montgomery St. though since they (the map people) don't tell you there are multiple streets with the same name, we got off at the wrong Montgomery St. We headed into the hotel and they let us know we were lost and gave us a map! Which we used for the rest of the day!!!! We were on the clear wrong side of town.

From there Dani, Emily, and myself attempted to flag a taxi to get across town. It took us a good five minutes of looking like idiots and waving at taxis to get one. Until finally I got tired and remembered a clip from White Collar and pulled a dollar bill and held it up and yelled and one came right up! (Apparently they respond well to cash props.)

Hehe Mickey ridding a turtle! The museum was alright. But it wasn't as good as people hyped it up to be....

We walked around outside the museum, and took some pictures. The Golden Gate bridge was right outside. So pretty!!!

So we next hopped another taxi to Pier 39 where we went and saw the Sea Dogs. There weren't that many due to relocation to Portland. So we walked around and took pictures.

From the Pier we walked over 22 blocks to Chinatown in search of the wild Pork Bun. My dad "pre-ordered" some and gave me money to get him some. By the time we got there only one shop was open and I had to wait forever for a slow deciding old man to order.

Then from China town followed the map back to the original Montgomery of our story. Then took the Bart back to Pleasant Hill but due to construction had to get off at Lafayette, ate some pizza, and drove home.

So to sum things up we had fun and plan to go maybe again, since we have money left on our Bart tickets lol.

20th Birthday Bonanza!!!

So this year I left my teenage years behind! I finally hit my second decade alive, yep that's right I'm officially old, I'm 20..... So my friends helped me celebrate with a three day extravaganza!

On Tuesday March 2 a group of us from the fraternity went to see the hit musical Avenue Q (though not for my bday, it just happened to be coincidence.) Though some complications arose Dani (below) and my brother and Roxana were my cheerleaders for the day, and made everything better. Afterwords we went to Denny's for dinner. (Though only a few people in the group helped me celebrate: Joey, Roxana, Luis, and Dani. Others just went because we planned before they new it was my bday.)

Day 2

On wednesday Dani brought a cake to class and I got a giant evil looking stuffed Duck who I have named Marty. We cut up and served it at our movie night meeting. Then I was off to dad's house to meet Roxana!

Roxana (Joey's girlfriend) and Carmen (her little sister) took me to their mother to get my new hair cut and style. They picked me up from my dads house and drove me into Riverbank. They surprised me and also did my eyebrows. As a non girly girl I trusted them and put myself in their hands and let them decide.

AFTER!!!!:

Personally I love the new hair cut. But I think I would save the curling for special occasions lol. I went back to school for yet another meeting. And lets just say my fraternity brothers didn't recognize me. They've never really seen me with my hair down. They asked if I dyed my hair black. I had to inform them my hair is black and that the ponytail it's usually up in turns it brown. I love my hair!!!

Day 3

The family gathered for dinner at Outback! I went early to Roxana's and she re-curled my hair. My mom and sister got me a Coldstone ice cream cake. Chocolate mint oreo! So yummy!!!!

It was a good few days. I enjoyed it very much. I can say that despite an issue or two this was my best birthday so far! Now to plan my 21st oooo laa laa!!!!
